·        STEP is a peer-led support and empowerment group that addresses health and social inequities for African American parenting women in our community. Many STEP participants began their journey through the Black Infant Health (BIH) Program. Once BIH participants graduate, STEP provides continued education, support, and advocacy. Our “kitchen table” talks provide opportunities for participant to share information, resources, and experiences about parenting, parent-child bonding, familial support, kindergarten readiness, and more.

·        STEP Sister Circles meet regularly and each session offers free childcare and a healthy meal.
